Re-Entry

How does it feel to be at home again? I posted on Facebook the following comment: "I feel like I've been in Narnia for a week and have just stepped back through the wardrobe into the real world. I want to be back in Narnia!"

On the way to the airport, I said to my fellow travelers, "This changes everything!" Do you feel the same way? What changes for you?

  1. I spent the friday afternoon and saturday morning on the road ... great time for reflection ... arrived back home in Mesa at about 230 az time .... old habits pull at me, (TV, home office, even called some clients on the way back friday afternoon)... I don't want to go back to old habits ... old habits have lost their appeal … I want more of God!!!
started reading Papa Prayer this morning at a starbucks in albuquerque. didnt get very far before i had to stop and reflect (fighting back tears).... first page in the acknowledgements "Unless you stand on the shoulders of giants, you will not see very far". Well, we all stood on the shoulder of giants this past week ....
How can reentry be anything but painful \ heart wrenching \ FUN \ gut wrenching \ deeply meaningful … My oldest son had worked all week (he was off school for fall break) and was showing me all he had accomplished … I told him I was really proud of him and was extremely grateful that God made me his father ….
Sorry for the rambling …. Thanks, Kinsey, for setting up the blog

  2. Hi Kinsey and everybody. Have been in San Diego for 24 hours - it is still not my 'home' territory, so not yet re-entry time. I have been soooooooooo grateful to my hosts here that they have left me to myself for the day so I could quietly centre down and reflect. It was great to be with you all in community. A foretaste of heaven. Thanks Ron for the lift to the airport - I sure was grateful, but not sure if I said so at the time.
